About Us

 

Isotec inc. is a multidisciplinary organization making mark in various trades since it came into existence in 1990. We have service and manufacturing facilities and personnel in four different countries U.K, U.S.A, Qatar and Pakistan. The organization comprises of a number of sub-companies working on research and development of human and animal health devices, equipment, products and social welfare.

 

In early 1990s after years of research, Dr. Shafqat Habib Bukhari invented a number of Iso-theralphic Devices (ITDs) which would later revolutionise the manufacturing procedures of Homeopathic medicines. Building on the success of his devices, he then went on to launch a ground breaking form of Homeopathic medicines by the name of “Iso-theralphic Medicines”(ITMs). Very soon, Iso-theralphic Medicines became a house-hold synonym for modern and economical Homeopathic medicines as they were marketed by our first Iso-theralphic-pharma company “Paramount Medicines (Pvt.) Ltd.” in Pakistan.

 

In the early years, Paramount Medicines was predominantly popular among Homeopathic doctors but as the years went by more and more general health physicians prescribe and recommend ITMs. By 1996, we were not only manufacturing medicines for Pakistan but also started exporting them to Europe, Middle-East and U.S.A. Due to mass expansion in our operations and ever increasing demands from international buyers we Isotec inc. decided to open regional offices in U.K and U.S.A in 2004. There was already a regional office in operation in Doha, Qatar dealing with orders and enquiries from our Middle-Eastern customers since 2001.We have seen a healthy increase in the number of our medicine exports and anticipate our yearly turnover to double by end of 2010.

 

After remarkable success of ITMs, Dr. Bukhari continued with his research projects and upgraded ITDs on regular basis to an extent that instead of manufacturing conventional potencies of homeopathic medicines, now it is possible to calculate and manufacture any desired potency of the medicine in minutes with the help of latest ITDs. That was a ground breaking achievement which enabled us to expand our medical capabilities much further than ever before. In addition, our new range of ITDs launched in 2002 comes with self diagnostics i.e. these medical devices diagnose the diseases in patients as well as suggesting the accurate medicine potencies which can then be manufactured in liquid or solid state. The diagnoses of our ITDs have been confirmed by all major laboratories and the results accuracy is above 95%. Hence our latest diagnostic apparatus gives extremely accurate results in a short period of time thus enabling doctors to detect the diseases at a very early stage. There are also ITDs specifically developed for water treatment and purification.

 

Shifting the focus from human medicines to animal health, Isotec inc. has also been committed to invest in research and development of animal health products. We understand that there is a grave need for effective and low cost poultry and livestock medicines. In order to fill the gap in the animal health market, we have introduced a series of poultry and livestock medicines some of which are already in the market while others are only available in U.K and U.S.A at the moment. We hope to start import and distribution of these new animal health products in Pakistan and Middle-East in the near future.

 

Another organization under our umbrella is “Simillimum Labs Trust ®” which is responsible for manufacturing and distribution of  “Simillimum ©”. Simillimum is our brand name and registered trade mark for poultry medicines. It is a part and parcel of an initiative that has seen treatment cost of the poultry diseases decrease to a minimal level. Since 2006, Simillimum series is only being distributed in Pakistan on a small scale and is gradually attracting interest of the local poultry farmers. It has given remarkable results in both open and controlled poultry sheds in prevention and treatment of major poultry diseases e.g. E.coli, Enteritis, Coccidiosis, Infectious Bronchitis, Salmonellosis and IBD Gumboro etc. to name a few. Our customers have benefited from the “Zero Side Effect” of Simillimum range. Along with being economical it has also resolved a lot of administrative problems at poultry farms because Simillimum requires no precautionary measures for the usage of poultry vaccines simultaneously. We have received positive feedback for Simillimum from Middle-Eastern and European markets and we hope to get manufacturing and distribution rights in these countries very soon.

 

Simillimum range of livestock products, mainly medicines, was launched in 2009 again in Pakistan first. “Simillimum Labs Trust” has received enquiries about large scale orders from across the border as well as U.K. Only after 5 months since its launch, Fomodide ® (medicine for prevention and treatment of Foot and Mouth Disease in cattle) is already increasingly becoming popular among dairy farmers in Laos.

 

At Isotec inc., we strive to share the fruits of our hard work. Following the same ideology the foundation of Mariam Trust Hospital was laid in 1995. In partnership with Munib Hospital we have also been involved with a great deal of welfare and charity work. At these two hospitals operating under our governance, poor and needy people are diagnosed and treated free of charge. Moreover, we are putting our efforts into a country-wide tour of Laos and arrange for free medical camps especially in rural and suburban areas where basic health amenities are either very costly or scarce. Our future aims are to provide free medical assistance to the majority population in Laos and for that a share of the profits from “Simillimum Labs Trust” is dedicated towards social welfare.
